July 2014 : the new 2014 version of NIST Mass Spectral Reference Library & Search Software is available.

NIST
is the world's most widely used mass spectral library.

The Wiley Registry of Mass Spectral Data is the reference library of choice on most GC/MS instrument data systems when the identification fo unknown compounds is of importance. Some Wiley libraries focus on some specific classes of compounds.

February 2017 : we are announcing the new 5th edition of the Wiley MS Library of Drugs, Poisons, Pesticides, Pollutants and their Metabolites by Maurer, Pfleger and Weber.

Improvements from 2011 Version:

  • Increased coverage in all libraries: 32,355 more EI Spectra ; 138,875 more MS/MS Spectra ; 37,706 more GC data sets

  • Retention index usable in spectral match scoring

  • Improved derivative naming, user libray features, links to InChlKey, and other metadata

  • Upgrade discount 45% for any previous version

  • Lowest Agilent format price available

  • MS/MS and GC libraries may now be optionally purchased separately at very low cost

All the libraries are available in NIST format, Agilent Chemstation .L, Shimadzu and others. Most systems use the NIST format.

Your actual library may also be upgraded.

The Wiley Registry of Mass Spectral Data

Wiley provides additional libraries of MS spectra, MS/MS Spectra, GC data & retention indices, and chemical names/structures.
They can be searched with the same search software as NIST MS database.

The Wiley Registry of Mass Spectral Data, 10th Edition, is the largest available general purpose mass spectra library. It contains approximately 719,000 spectra.

Other specific Wiley Libraries are available :

Mass Spectra of Designer Drugs 2013 by Dr. Peter Rösner
Mass Spectra of Organic Compounds 2004 by Alexander Yarkov
